Fat malapsorption: Gallbladder, pancreas & other parts of the GI system constantly produce natural compounds to help with digestion of fats (e.g. Greasy foods). An alternation in this intricate mechanism may impede the body from normally absorbing fatty foods. Lose stools & steatorrhea may be observed. When accompanied by vomiting, problems of the pancreas of gallbladder are considered. Internist or a GI dr. ...Read more

How common is fecal vomiting when severely constipated?

More fibers in food.: There is nothing like fecal vomiting. It does not happen. You must be vomiting partially digested food that itself can be smelly. Have you ever had your constipation checked out? This needs to be treated to get rid of the problem. Usually it is due to lack of fiber in the food. Eat more of salads, vegetables, and fruits. You may also use something like metamucil or citrucel to increase your fiber. ...Read more

This: This sounds like a mild case of gastroenteritis (stomach flu or food poisoning). The symptoms usually resolve in about a week or so. The key is to maintain hydration and eat a bland diet until the symptoms subside. If more than a week goes by without resolution, she has a persistent fever, or you notice blood, mucus, or parasites in the stool you should bring her to a doctor right away. Otherwise, she should be a lilttle better everyday. ...Read more

That'sOneWayToDiet!: You sure you didn't see an exorcist for that? It usually goes in reverse: first the vomiting, then the diarrhea. So you must be a left-handed dyslexic redhead. A lot of fat in the stool can be caused by a lot of things & your doctor is right, it's over so it's a moot point unless. It happens again, then it'll be time to get serious and tested. The watery brown liquid? Hard to say, depends on what you ate ...Read more
