Resting HR 120-160 found in notes I also have Left ventricular ejection fraction 52% been passing out a lot should I be worried/is this the cause?

Unfortunately yes: You could be having a dangerous heart rhythm, leading to the passing out. The ejection fraction of 52% is still within the normal range; however, you are tachycardic at baseline, and the fast heart rate may overestimate your true ejection fraction as well as lead to heart damage. If you pass out again, I recommend calling 911, otherwise, see cardiologist ASAP. ...Read more

Can biliary dyskinesia GB recover to normal after stopping meds that cause low ejection fraction? How long would it take to recover b4 new HIDA scan?

Can biliary dyskinesia GB recover to normal after stopping meds that cause low ejection fraction? How long would it take to recover b4 new HIDA scan?

Not likely: You almost certainly have mechanical obstruction of the GB, even though this may be only due to thickened bile, sludge, or gravel, and may be intermittent. Medications or supplements have virtually no influence on this process. Low fat diet can lessen the severity of symptoms by lessening GB contractions. See your doctor. ...Read more

My gallbladder ejection fraction is only 15%. Would this cause me nausea and constipation?

I have gallbladder with 0% ejection fraction and no stones and constant pain below rib , which is tolerable, can this cause dizziness and headache?

I have gallbladder with 0% ejection fraction and no stones and constant pain below rib , which is tolerable, can this cause dizziness and headache?

Gallbladder: Symptoms from a gallbladder condition are upper abdominal pains or pressure bloating after eating with nausea & sometimes vomiting. Dizziness & headaches by themselves would not be expected to be gallbladder related. An isolated hida scan finding without other identifiable gallbladder symptoms may not have much clinical meaning. ...Read more

Heart Cath= Negative. Ejection fraction 60. Vessels large. Told palpatations could be electrical in cause but not sent to that type Dr. What 2 do?

Heart Cath= Negative. Ejection fraction 60. Vessels large. Told palpatations could be electrical in cause but not sent to that type Dr. What 2 do?

Usually benign: Most palps with a structurally normal heart are benign, meaning they are more annoying than dangerous. If there is dizziness, shortness of breath or near-fainting, then that requires evaluation with long-term ECG monitoring. If there are none of those danger signs, I typically provide reassurance. If the symptoms are still , then I prescribe a monitor to guide us. If worried, seek second opinion. ...Read more

Having mid-back pain to right of spine for hours after eating. Hida scan and gb ultrasound=normal. Ejection fraction=91%. Any ideas about the cause?

Possibly not gb: Most symptoms related to gall bladder occur in right upper quadrant of the abdomen. Your symptoms sound like other portions of the gastrointestinal tract may be involved, endoscopy, blood tests, and other imaging testing will examine large bowel and small bowel for possible contribution to your symptoms. ...Read more

Is it possible to have gallbladder disease w/50% ejection fraction? Hidascan w/cck caused same pain i have. Constant upper right quad pain, nausea increases with exercise, headaches above right eye

Maybe not...: Hida scans measure several things--uptake ; excretion of hida by liver, gallbladder function, ductal patency/ function. Cck is given to stimulate gallbladder contraction--mimicking food entering the duodenum from stomach. If the gallbladder has a sluggish ejection fraction (ef. ...Read more
