My: understanding is that the mutation, which would cause low levels, is associated with lymphoma. Also, thus far animal (mouse) studies identify it as a possible target for autoimmune diseases like bullous pemphigoid. No association to Enlhers. ...Read more

Its All Related: Back is related to how the arch fell in your foot resulting in knee joints changing position that results in hip issues then translating to stress in your spine resulting in pieced nerves causing your sciatica. Thats said, likely improving your arch with support/orthotic will help reduce the back pain. Remember this will not happen overnight but will take time and your feet will hurt initially. ...Read more

Eds?: Not familiar w/ abbreviation. Sounds like u subluxated your patella( kneecap) though . Sorry didn't realize you had ehler's danlos syndrome ... Now i understand. As you know very well your joints are 'looser' than ' normal' joints and kneecaps can 'slip' out of place w/ the stresses of squatting.See your ors for evaluation and quad strengthening/ patellar bracing if needed. Yes: Trigger point injections can be administered into the specific areas of tense muscles. Use a marker pen and place dots at the specific spots of pain prior to your doctor visit. The medicine will sting when it hits the spasm. The concern in the chest cavity is not puncturing a lung. A short needle should be used in this area.
