Doctor can evaluate: Itching all over can be due to an allergic or irritant reaction to some medicine, food, virus, soap, etc... A primary care doctor can evaluate. Sometimes, the doctor will order some blood tests to check the liver, kidneys, and other organs, if there is unexplained itching. Uncommon, but possible, is overall itching due to getting parasites, such as after foreign travel.

What causes itchy white bumps behind ear lobes? I can pop them and the white stuff comes out.

What causes itchy white bumps behind ear lobes? I can pop them and the white stuff comes out.

Sebaceous cysts: Many people have these cysts, which develop in the earlobes and behind the ears. They are oily, containing sebum, and sometimes can get infected. If you're able to express and drain them on your own, I would not be too concerned. If you develop a large one or it becomes infected, then sometimes surgical removal is necessary.

Can eating wheat or glutin cause an itchy reaction? I have an chronic ear itch that seems to go away when I cut out flour from my diet. Coincidence?

Wheat can cause itch: Gluten is a molecule found in wheat, barley, and rye. It is what gives bread it's chewy texture. Patients with celiac disease have immune reactions to gluten. Itchiness could be one symptom but not very common. Your pcp can draw a blood test to screen for celiac disease. A true wheat allergy, on the other hand can cause itchiness. This is best diagnosed by an allergist with skin testing.

What could cause me to have two flat red spots behind my right ear? Not painful or itchy

What could cause me to have two flat red spots behind my right ear? Not painful or itchy

Most commonly: These would be little patches of inflammation/irritation, but without being itchy it is less likely to be an allergic or inflammatory reaction. Perhaps they are petechiae which can result when tiny blood vessels called capillaries burst under the skin. They can be caused by injury/trauma. OK to watch for a few days. If more develop, become painful or irritated, see your Doctor/Dermatologist.

Itchy: Itchy ears can be from allergies, dermatitis, infection (bacterial or fungal), wax... Could it be possible that you tried to scratch the ear and dis damage to the skin in the canal? This should be an easy fix with your primary care doctor with a possible referral to an ENT if it cannot be fixed.

I have ear fullness feeling and little swelling gland at jaw since 20 days and now swelling gland will normal only I have itchy in ear what is cause?

I have ear fullness feeling and little swelling gland at jaw since 20 days and now swelling gland will normal only I have itchy in ear what is cause?

Is it the ear?: Palpate the swelling and open and close your mouth. If it is the jaw joint you will feel it move when you open and close. Sometimes the TMJ can give ear symptoms like fullness. I would have an ENT check it out first to be sure there are no medical problems. If not, then check with a dentist who conservatively treat TMJ issues to see if that is a possible cause.
