I read that if you are having chest pain and you can pinpoint where the pain is, it is most likely not heart related. Is that true?

YES: the old "pearl" (a medical "rule" which is passed on from Doctors who teach to their students) is that if you CAN POINT WITH ONE FINGER where the chest pain is localized its VERY unlikely to be a Coronary event (heart attack) Hope this helps! Dr Z ...Read more
