See your surgeon: From the sounds of it, an ophthalmologist did NOT do the surgery. What kind of doctor did it? A plastic surgeon? Regardless, chemosis should not be a major issue 2 and half weeks out from surgery. So I would start with your surgeon and he/she may suggest seeing an ophthalmologist. Is there an alternative treatment for chemosis? I've been using Natural Tears and Fluorometholone for 3 weeks now. Had blepheroplsty on August 5th.
Time & cold compress: If this was not present prior to your surgery, it will probably resolve spontaneously and is just part of the healing process. If this was present prior to your surgery, that's a different story and you need to see an Ophthalmologist to evaluate further. ...Read more
