I've been having a tingling sensation on my left shoulder blade for some time. It isn't numb, but it tingles, sometimes more than others. Dangerous?

Nerve pain: Sounds like pain from "pinched nerve". Several causes of pain from pinched nerve; artheritis, herniated disc, narrowing of foramin (holes) that nerves leave spinal cord from. What causes pain in alternating shoulder blades? Pain has been in my left shoulder blade with burning and now moved to the right.
Could be a # of cau-:
1: skin irritation by something coming in contact with it;
2: some insect bite (s);
3: a local nerve being irritated, or from the spine itself;
4: A Metabolic cause, which can also same symptoms.

No, this isn't GERD: This symptoms constellation is not consistent with reflux disease. It should be checked out just the same. The fact that the pain is worse when you touch the area suggests that it is either musculoskeletal or nerve pain. Is it related to meals? I'm wondering why you are associating this with reflux? Several possibilities. The pain may be related to irritation of the pleura (lining of the lung) or ribs or muscles around the scapula.
A chest x ray would be a good start but may not show any abnormalities. Have your physician examine you & if pain is significant consider other tests eg: ct or mri

Tingling in arm: May be due to nerve or vascular compression (more often the former). The injury that resulted in the shoulder blade fracture may have caused another problem. (nerve root, brachial plexus, peripheral nerve) Sometimes traction to the ulnar nerve causes parasthesias down to the hand and discomfort around the elbow. Many times a herniated disc in the neck can cause arm pain especially if you have not improved with the medications and physical therapy. Perhaps not so: Some patients will rarely experience a tingling irritating sensation over the middle of the shoulder blade or even below, and that is a problem locally perhaps secondary to trauma or virus, termed notalgia paresthetica. First even though you are young we want to make sure that you don't a heart or lung problem that requires urgent attention. Shoulder pain could be from bursitis, tendonitis, arthritis and just bruise from mechanical fall.
If there is no repetitive use of the shoulder like throwing ball=no rotator cuff tendonitis.
