Causes Of Burning Tingling My Feet
Pain on top of foot, burning & tingling, radiates up outter leg almost feels like electrical sensation, what's the cause?
Many possibilities: Unfortunately, the process of getting sensation from your foot to your brain has many steps, and as such there are many things that can go wrong. Some possibilities include pinched peroneal nerve at the knee, pinched nerve root in the lower spine, irritation in the spinal cord itself, or a problem in the brain. A neurologist can help localize the problem and determine an effective treatment. ...Read more
Sciatica: This sounds like your sciatic nerve is the cause of the pain as it runs down the back of the leg to the foot. If you sit with your legs stretched straight out in front of you and raise your leg pulling your toes toward you and the pain gets worse it is the sciatic nerve. If the pain continues or worsens seek medical attention. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Seeing neuro for chronic foot burning, skin burning, tingling. Never had B12 checked but been on 110ug daily for a year- cud it still be low? Causes?
It could: It could still be low because some people have difficulty with absorption through the stomach and need to get shots to bypass it so you should still get the level checked. The bad news is that if you have a sensory motor neuropathy the list of causes is enormous and hepatitis c is on that list. The treatment to reverse it is removal of the offending agent which may or may not be possible ...Read more

What could cause RLS type urges in both hands & feet (tingling burning extreme urges to move & shake them) as well as painful & sensitive.? Hbp anxity
Same problem : Rls can cause the same disagreeable urge to move anywhere from the neck down. It almost always involves the legs , if other muscles are the presenting symptoms, but not necessarily. It is thought to be caused by a deficiency of Dopamine in the brain. Sometimes this can be corrected with correcting one's iron levels, if they are low. Be careful, iron levels must be measured and followed if taken. ...Read more

Can HSV 1 in genitals cause idiopathic peripheral neuropathy? Recurrent outbreaks. Do not take meds for it. Now have burning/tingling in feet.
Not exactly: Any HSV type of genital infection could cause problems farther downstream in terms of neuropathy since the viral particles recede after causing their outbreaks into the lumbosacral ganglia and that could then, lead to problems in other root zone distributions but then, it wouldn't be IDIOPATHIC and you may expect to see the typical blistery breakdown. You should be checked for other causes as well ...Read more
Can a C6 hemangioma in the neck cause tremors, tingling, and burning in the neck, arms, hands, and feet or is this probably not the cause, just something common they pick up in an MRI?
Can a low t3 (liothyronine) be the cause of tingling in the hands and feet, and burning in the arms? I've had a normal brain MRI and back/neck, as well as neuro exam.
Hard to say: I would certainly be checked as that is not a normal complaint for a 21 year old. There are numerous neurological and vascular possibilities. An exam and appropriate studies can determine the cause. I would encourage you to be seen. ...Read more

Possible neuropathy.: Numbness and tingling in the feet is possibly due to neuropathy, which means a problem with the nerves.
