Seeing neuro for chronic foot burning, skin burning, tingling. Never had B12 checked but been on 110ug daily for a year- cud it still be low? Causes?

It could: It could still be low because some people have difficulty with absorption through the stomach and need to get shots to bypass it so you should still get the level checked. The bad news is that if you have a sensory motor neuropathy the list of causes is enormous and hepatitis c is on that list. What could cause RLS type urges in both hands & feet (tingling burning extreme urges to move & shake them) as well as painful & sensitive.? Hbp anxity

Same problem : Rls can cause the same disagreeable urge to move anywhere from the neck down. It almost always involves the legs , if other muscles are the presenting symptoms, but not necessarily. Can HSV 1 in genitals cause idiopathic peripheral neuropathy? Recurrent outbreaks. Do not take meds for it. Now have burning/tingling in feet.

You should be checked for other causes as well ...Read more
