I have a hot burning sensation in my right leg? What cause it, could it be a vein trying to break

I have a hot burning sensation in my right leg? What cause it, could it be a vein trying to break

Several Options.: A burning sensation in the leg can be due to several factors but most commonly due to nerve irritation. Sometimes, an inflammation of the vein can cause a similar symptom but this is usually associated with pain along the course of the vein. This would not be due to a vein breaking or trying to break. You should see a vein specialist for an evaluation to determine the cause of the problem.

Leg burning: If in the thigh could be meralgia paralytic compression of lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, or could be a form of sciatica or piriformis syndrome (where sciatic nerve is compressed by buttock muscles (L4 compression). Could see if motrin helps if not allergic, would consider MRI if persists, rarely could be ovarian, if ruptured/ large cysts / f/u/ w/ doc

? popliteal cyst?: Your symptoms are likely due to a popliteal cyst, also called a Baker's Cyst. It is a bursal fat pad that has become inflammed from weather or altered gait, among other causes. Anti-inflammatories are often prescribed for it, in fairly high doses, such as ibuprofen 600-800mg three to four times per day. If that doesn't work after a week or so, drainage and steroid injection may be necessary, .

What should I do if my right leg is swollen feels like its asleep and a burning sensation on the lower part I have vericious veins

See A Vascular MD: You should seek evaluation by a medical professional, preferrably a vein specialist or vascular surgeon. Since you have obvious varicose veins on your lower legs and have swelling as well as burning in the legs, it is likely that you have a medical condition known as venous insufficiency or venous reflux. It is treatable and often curable. A ultrasound of your leg veins will be needed.

Diffuse annular disc bulge 1 to 2 mm at L4 L5. causing burning sensation in right leg and foot since 4 months. How is the prognosis. Is it nerve damag?

It depends...: On the cause. There are many causes of sciatica. See a doctor who specializes in neuromuscular disorders to determine the cause of your sciatica and to recommend an appropriate treatment plan. Most normal adults have disc bulges, and I agree with Dr. Krauser that your disc bulge at L4-L5 is not likely the source of your symptoms. Other causes include piriformis syndrome & sacroiliac joint issues.

Burning sensation and pain in lower right leg, numbing sensation in foot, pinching sensation in hip? No back pain.

Burning sensation and pain in lower right leg, numbing sensation in foot, pinching sensation in hip? No back pain.

Depends: I would like to know where the pain starts. If it originates at the buttock it is possible that the problem could be coming from the back despite not having back pain. My advice would be to get an EMG to rule out a radiculopathy, consider imaging of L-spine and Right Hip, and based on these results decide further tx. Buttock pain could be coming from back, hip or SI joint. Further w/u needed.

Pain/numbness in right leg from buttock all the way down to big toe and numbness/burning sensation in groin? Can't stand on heels either or tip toes

Possibly a sciatica: A sciatica is caused by an irritation of a nerve in the back that then can cause pain that runs down the leg like you are describing. There are also potentially other causes as well. Usually a detailed history and exam can determine the cause. Thank you for your question.

I've been having a burning pain sensation from my. Hip going down my right leg what could it be?

Hip flexors - psoas?: There are a few major muscles that might be involved as well as ligaments and nerves including the sciatic. A good massage therapist or chiropractor or PT is a good place to start. They can refer to a Dr if needed. There are exercises and yoga poses that might help too. Being in good general condition will also help. Be patient, bt not about getting started! Best!
