Causes Of Burning Sensation In My Left Shoulder
Can acid reflux cause burning sensation in left shoulder and arm pit chest area. If I touch where it hurts worse?
No, this isn't GERD: This symptoms constellation is not consistent with reflux disease. It should be checked out just the same. The fact that the pain is worse when you touch the area suggests that it is either musculoskeletal or nerve pain. Is it related to meals? I'm wondering why you are associating this with reflux? The best way to approach this is to visit with your doc and have an exam done with some tests. ...Read more

Neuromuscular pain: The change in pain with range of motion a little reassuring that it is muscle with some nerve involvement that increases with movement. Some work places will provide an "ergonomic evaluation" of your work area/desk to be sure you are positioned appropriately. Exercise can be helpful, if you go to a gym ask a trainer to suggest some light exercises or light weights that may help you. Physical therapy can be very helpful for back/shoulder pain.
