Causes Of Burning Sensation In My Big Toe
I recently started to have a heated/burning sensation under my big toe. No associated pain noted. What could cause this?
Few things: Could cause this. First, I would examine the skin to see if there is any sign of cracked skin, blistering or scaling as a fissure or athletes foot may be present. If not, I would question you with regards to low back pain or if you are possibly diabetic. I would also evaluate you for compression neuropathy of the deep peroneal nerve or tarsal tunnel syndrome.See 2 more doctor answers

I am experiencing foot numbness and burning sensation. My plantar nerve was removed. Should half of my big toe be numb?
Unclear: Not sure why you had either/both of your plantar nerves removed - nor any past history of relevant diseases associated with a neuropathy. The innervation of the top of the foot and the bottom are different, and the lack of plantar nerve (s) make it more complex. Please consult your doctor who can sort through all of these issues to localize the issue and additional tests to define it better.
Burning sensation on bottom of my feet right below my big toe bone. Feels like fire. No pain no swelling or numbness. Should I get checked out?
Evaluation indicated: You should be evaluated by a musculoskeletal specialist of the feet such as a podiatrist or an orthopaedic surgeon who treats foot and ankle issues. Your description of your symptoms correlates with a problem or injury to the small sesamoid bones located on under surface of the big toe

Feel a tendon or something moving side to side in base of big toe. Pain and sometimes burning sensation when walking was after slamming side of foot?
Walk this Way.: There are quite a few structures that have the ability to move side to side, associated with the base of the big toe. A slamming injury could injure any one or more of them effecting the stability of the toe and toe joint. Pain and burning are the body's way of letting you know this. It is best to have the toe examined and possibly x-rayed to remove all doubt.
I have burning sensation in my baby finger on my left hand, numb big toe, burning ankle, RecentMRI shows L5 disc protrusion. Are these all linked?
Burning sensation in top of right foot by all toes lasts for 10 sec comes &goes. Told docror. Not concerned. Not diabetic. What would cause this?
Varies: There is a nerve on the tip of the foot that supplies that area and is superficial, it is possible that you are developing a neuroma there. I would make sure you are not wearing any shoe wear that could be irritating the top of the foot. There are other potential causes as well. Don't hesitate to see a podiatrist or orthopedist for it.
Nerves: Most burning type of pain is caused by a nerve problem. Depending on the location of the pain on the bottom of the foot it may be caused by plantar fasciitis entrapping the nerve at the side & bottom of the heel. If at the level of the toes it could be a neuroma. If you are a diabetic it could be neuropathy. If it persists you need to see someone.See 1 more doctor answer
