Possibly flushing: This could simply be flushing, or blushing, some people seem to do this more in their ears. If it is painful for a while, you could be showing signs of relapsing polychondritis. Painful rash: If it's just on one side, i'd worry this was shingles and would encourage you to get someone to start treatment right away. My ear lobes have been itching and have burning sensation. I am totally deaf in my right ear from mumps I contracted as a child. Ps advise. Coco?
Hard to know: More background information and an exam needed to address with accuracy. An initial thought: metal allergy related to jewelry? Infection would be unlikely to affect both earlobes simultaneously. A form of autoimmunity can attack cartilage, but unlikely to only effect the ear lobes. Experiencing burning sensation, warm skin & skin irritation feeling on face & ears. No change meds/diet. Last time @ doc BP norm. What could be cause?
C/w vasodilatation: Of arterioles ↑ing flow to capillaries supplying skin of areas mentioned. Arterioles, body wide, under split second control 24/7: primarily from brain (+ local feedback), so that we can adjust blood distribution throughout body. The issue is BP/flow into local capillaries, not large arteries. Thus many issues are involved, from blushing (embarrassment) to any kind of perceived local irritant. ...Read more

What could cause a burning flushing feeling up neck to head? My shoulders are also very sore for no known reason.
Muscle spasm: You may have spasm of neck & shoulder muscles, possibly by exercise or work overuse, tension, bad posture, or poor sleep. Start with therapeutic massage focused on those areas; see if that helps. If uncomfortable sensations (lightening-like or burning for example) shoot from your neck & shoulder to fingers, then you may have nerve injury, which calls for clinician examination. Hope that helps. ...Read more

I have been having burning fluid feeling inside head and face, when this happens my ear turns red, and it happens from front to back?
Always have sinus issues. Noticed a knot in front of ear no pain or color change. Only noticeable by touching the area. Also burning feeling.
Lymph node.: That sounds like a pre-auricular lymph node, which could enlarge in response to an ear or sinus infection. If it eventually goes away completely, say in two to four weeks, then there's no cause for concern, especially if you have symptoms of said infections. If it does not go away, you may want to have it looked at - sometimes we need to take these out for definitive diagnosis if they linger. ...Read more
