Causes Of Brownish Discharge After Nordette
Will withdrawal bleeding (very light brownish discharge) 6 days after taking ECP (Nordette) assures me that I'm not pregnant?
Discharge can be a noun or a verb; it has multiple meanings in physics, chemistry, military, and legal usage. The most common medical meaning is a substance that is being excreted. Examples: pus is the discharge from a pimple; a vaginal discharge can mean infection; an ear discharge can mean an infection of the outer ear tract; a nasal discharge ...Read more
Hai Dr. I recently started on nordette prevention pills, now my vagina is itchy and has sores and a greenish smelly discharge. Is it trichomonius? Wha
We can not: Diagnose this with the available information. I recommend medical assessment.
I am on nordette (ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel) pills for 2mos now and I noticed I am having thick odorless yellowish vaginal discharge. Is it still normal?
Discharge: Birth control pills can thicken the cervical mucus and because on the pill your body's hormones will change you might also experience a change in vaginal discharge. However any discharge that is not white, that is accompanied by itching or burning or an odor can signal a vaginal infection. If it is bothersome you should definitely see a health care provider.
Is it normal? Had unprotected sex on jan 3 took nordette (ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel) as ecp on jan 5-6 had sex again on jan. 8 dry dark brown discharge on jan 10 to present.
Not unusual: I assume u used high doses as emergency oral contraceptive. It can cause the sx's u describe.
What might cause green coloration on my vagina when using nordette (ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel)?
Vaginal discharge: Sometimes vaginal discharge has a green hue to it. Typically it's not a sign of infection so long as you don't have any itching or foul smell associated with it. Regardless, however, if you're concerned you may want to see a physician and get checked out for any possible infection, including possible stds. I haven't heard of birth control causing a change in the skin color of the vagina.
I have been on Yasmin (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) for 3 months and now have breakthrough/mid-cycle bleeding. Nordette caused severe weight gain. What now? : (
See details: If you missed any pills or took them late, you might get breakthrough bleeding. If you are taking them correctly, I would not start making any changes if it only happened one month. If you are not having any other symptoms, I would wait and see what happens the next month. If the problem persists, make an appointment with your gynecologist.
26 year-old woman is unable to stop Nordette (ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel) birth control pills after 8 yrs of use, due to heavy vaginal bleeding upon Nordette (ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel) discontinuation.....?
What are goals?: The answer depends on your long term goals. If you do not want more children then an endometrial ablation is a good option. Assuming you do want more children then other options can be considered. Testing for PCOS and hypothyroidism could be done. Since you are missing periods followed by heavy bleeding PCOS seems likely. A sonohystogram should be done to see if a polyp or submucosal fibroid is present. If present then these can be surgically removed as an outpatient. If pregnancy is desired later on but not now a Mirena (levonorgestrel) IUD could be a great option. This often stops bleeding. If you are satisfied with the pill you could just continueSee 9 more doctor answers
Birth Control: Nordette-21 is a cyclic with control containing estrogen and progesterone. If used for birth control, one should start it on the first day of bleeding of a natural cycle, then take a pill a day. If being used continuous, one can start a new pack as soon as one runs out. Basically start with the first pill and take one each day until its over then go to the next pack.
Nordette allergy: Allergies occur when the immune system produces antibodies in reaction to allergens. For info about allergies/ adverse rxns see: https://www. Question. Com/drugs/nordette28.html
No: It is never "SAFE" to drink and smoke. While you can continue to use birth control pills even when you drink and smoke because you're under 35 years of age, I would discourage you from drinking and smoking in general.
Um currently taking nordette as I was diagonised with hormonal imbalance. I want to know if they don't do any damages to the body or reproductive system as I would like to have kids oneday. Any serious side effects I should know about?
Reproduction unaffec: Reproduction should be unaffected by ocp's. Serious side effects are rare today with low dose pills. But you should consult your doctor if you have any unusual symptoms
Safe: As safe as any other birth control pill if you pay attention to the risks.
Took Nordette last May 17 then withdrawal happened last May 27 to May 31. My menstruation should be June 1 but my menstruation didn't came. I'm worried?
Take HPT to know.: Reasons for missed /late periods: low body weight, obesity, marked weight gain or loss, over-exercise such as in endurance athletes, breast-feeding, stress, illness, eating disorders (bulimia or anorexia), travel, hormone irregularities, drug use, medications (i.e., birth control) or med problem (polycystic ovary syndrome or Asherman’s syndrome. #1 reason for missed period is pregnancy.
BCP NORDETTE (ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel): Usually no. It contains a small amount of hormone that can make you gain weight if more tablets are taken.
