See a GI doctor: If you have already had a colonoscopy this should have been preceeded by an analysis of the stools, with exam and testing for different organisms which may be causing the diarrhea. If these were not done, go back and be seen by a GI doctor. ...Read more

This could: Be a viral syndrome> (patients with Lupus do get viral infections at the same or slightly higher rate than the general population!) Do you have a fever?? Any contacts with people who were (are) ill??? Any travel??
Did recent labs include a CBC (Complete Blood Count) If so what was the White Cell count/Differential??

By Gluten "exposure: I assume you are referring to Gastrointestinal. Ingestion and gluten intolerance (adult "coeliac" disease and other Gastro-intestinal disorders leads to GI symptoms. Not arthritic flare ups as commonly associated problems!
Talk with your PCP about a referral to a Board Certified RHEUMATOLOGIST for further evaluation!

SLE: Confusion and dizziness are common symptoms with many causes. When they occur during every lupus flair the SLE is the most likely cause. These symptoms can also be caused by steroids used to treat SLE flairs as well as other medications. You did not say how often your flairs occur or how long they last.
