Can i use nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream to treat a rash caused by allergy to roaches?
Depends: Nystatin is used to treat fungal infections. Triamcinolone is topical steroid, which is used to treat eczema or allergic contact dermatitis type reactions. No need: What you are describing is not necessarily an allergy. Some individuals develop hives when they acquire a viral infection. Allergy testing is of no value in this case. You can always have a rast blood test, which is inferior to the skin test, but i still do not see the need for it in your case. The hives should subside once the infection resolves. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I used triamcinolone acetonide cream on my chest for really bad hives and now my chest has broken out VERY severely. Did the cream cause it?
No: Allergy to triamcinolone acetonide is rare so there's probably another explanation. Also this drug may not be very effective here if hives (Urticaria) is truly what you have. Rashes are very difficult to describe. Can you send a photo? There are very good over the counter anthistamines that can help hives. ...Read more

Both : Both are steriod inhalers. They are different steriods. Azmacort (triamcinolone), (triamcinolone) an old formulation, has an attached tube that acts like an aerochamber while Flovent can come as a diskus which is breath activated-ie- you need to inhale the medication and it is dependent on how you inhale or in an hfa formulation which has a propellent to push the medication out. I am not aware that Azmacort (triamcinolone) is still on the market. ...Read more
