Sure we look for B12 & folate (folic acid) deficiency in alzheimer's dementia, but I have yet to correct someone's levels & return their thinking process. One of the best studies was done by abam hoffer md who showed dramatic increases in survival in cancer patients who took high doses of b complex, beta carotene, e, c, selenium & zinc.
