Surgery-related: It may have been related to surgery. If you have had no symptoms since the surgery then I would simply ask your doctor if a repeat chest x-ray needs to be done. Ct scan with contrast found a 3mm nodule in my left lung, minimal dependent atelectasis, & an exaggerated cardiac silhouette. What does this mean?
Pulmonary nodule: Any nodule in the lung, no matter what size, needs to be investigated thoroughly. Comparison with previous chest xrays and CT scans would be the priority.
