Insulin: Insulin is necessary to allow the sugars in your blood to enter cells. If you don't have enough insulin, sugars will be high. Two sources of sugar in the body: from food (many sources in food are snuck in u may not notice- like ketchup, bbq sauce) and from the liver (makes sugar to keep our cells energized when we are not eating).
