Difficult to answer: In a limited space, the common side effects of Abraxane & Carboplatinum include nausea, vomiting, weakness, indigestion, diarrhea, mouth sores, headache, muscle or joint pain, numbness/tingling/burning of the hands/feet, dizziness, infections, anemia, hair loss, low blood counts making you prone to infection, bleeding. Not much: Oncologists routinely give several anti-nausea medicines with cisplatin and irradiation. Some of those Meds make a person drowsy. You will get much fluid by vein; expect to urinate a lot. Some fatigue is common. If doctor prescribes anti--emetics, take them TO PREVENT nausea and vomiting. ...Read more
