Carb Cycling Meal Plans For The Mesomorph Body Type
What can I do if my body type is mesomorph and i want mass muscle gains. What is the best diet plan?
Can a person with an endomorph body type change into a mesomorph body type through excercise or is body shape prefer timed through genetics?
Easy to change: The talk about "endomorphs" is subscience from one guy at yale in the early 1900's and has nothing to do with real science. Some guys build muscle mass more easily than others doing resistance training, but every guy can trim down doing aerobic exercise. Before-and-after photos like this one are everywhere ; you'll see people with similar results at any fitness facility. ...Read more
How can I tell if im a mesomorph body type or endomorph? I have traits for both body types i read in description. Im muscular somewhat but im also fat
Body types: The determination of a body type is not as much of a concern as how you feel about yourself. It is easy to say that if you aren't happy with your weight, you can change it. I found it personally hard to do. I couldn't do it alone, so i went to a company and chose to stick with their strict healthy diet and exercise regimen. This may not be your problem, but you called yourself fat. Try my "cure". ...Read more
Bmi or body type mesomorph? Which one is better I want to be 115. Right now i'm 142 but my rib cage is showing i'm 5"5' what can I do?
Depends: By the growth charts of the cdc your expected weight for height would be 120lb while a bmi chart would put you at 132 lb to be average weight for height. Most would agree that more muscle mass is preferred to more chub, and both charts do not make a distinction. Your pcp can give you specific recommendations based on your body. See:www.Cdc.Gov/growthcharts. ...Read more

Normal: If you're on medication, it could be explained by the action of the medication. If you're not on medication, what happened is that your sugar when way up with your meal, and then your body had to put out a large amount of Insulin to bring it down again. A glucose of 68, particularly if it's a finger stick not a lab glucose, is normal. Nothing to worry about, but eat less and lose weight. ...Read more

Just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and i'm under the impression i need to eat carbs in between meals, is this right?
As long as your not on mealtime Insulin or sulfonylureas, it is not necessary to eat carbs between meals
those drugs have increased risk of low blood sugar between meals, so that was often necessary; newer safer agents that don't cause hypoglycemia do not require eating carbs between meals. ...Read more
Non diabetic . (Fasting BG 121 today). Would cutting carbs to 20-25 per meal be too little? Had GD with last 2 pregnancies. Worried about type 2.
Probably: As you are likely aware gestat DM carries a 30% risk of future DM. With this single fasting blood sugar I can't say much, if it is a pattern it is pre diabetes & needs to be addressed. If overweight, weight loss is the #1 risk factor & diet + low carb/cal diet is good.Starting at that may be OK, but not sustainable. A balanced diet with ~45g-60 carb is doable very low carb diet.Need Eval too. ...Read more

I am an emdomorph on a kettogenic diet, the only carbs i hv in the week are 2 cheat meals per week, is this ok?
No specific number: The low glycemic diet is what you need. Eat a diet rich in green vegetables and hard fruits. One that is low in animal saturate fats is also good. Eat 80% of each meal in plant and 20% animal. Get protein and good fat like olive oil coconut oil or nuts at each meal. This will "buffer" the effect of any complex carbohydrates or sugars that naturally occur. This balance will negate carb counting. ...Read more
My wife 2 after high carb meal always are in 80s but morning level are in 90-110 (in night 80s)
Non diabetic /fit
Hb1ac - 5.6
What is reason of this?
Pp bg (140 or less @ 1hr) w/ moderate carbs 40g/meal. Meter average 109 from day. Fbg 109. A1c still 6.6 -2000 mg mtfmn. Night bg spike keeps avg up?
See below: When do you take the metformin? It works by blocking sugar production by the liver, which process occurs primarily at night; so taking it at supper or bedtime seems best. However, your fasting bg is 109 by your report; so liver's production seems adequately controlled. Perhaps u should check ppbg 2 hours after meal to make certain it isn't spiking. Daily exercise also helps lower sugar levels. ...Read more
