Give it more time: If they are truly canker sores (little gray covered ulcers), they will heal on their own. If the pain is mostly gone, this is a good sign that you are on the mend! ...Read more

No problem: Catching oral herpes (cold sores) isn't risky for pregnancy. And you are unlikely to be infected just by "being around" someone with oral herpes, only direct contact like kissing. Anyway, half of all adults have oral herpes, mostly without symptoms; this person is no more risk to you than others you don't know about. Anyway, only genital herpes is potentially dangerous in pregnancy, not oral. ...Read more
