Referred pain: Lesions in the deeper part of the mouth may cause the feeling of pain in the ear. You may wish to see your dentist for evaluation of oral health. If it is not due to oral health issues, the next step would be consult an internist to ascertain the cause of canker sores and treat the cause. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. ...Read more

It might: Be a result ( the palatial ulcer) of an infection in or around the ear area, are you on meds.? , it can be a side effect of meds. , or due to bacterial imbalance from antibiotics for example , hope that help, see a doctor or preferably an ENT doctor for evaluation. ...Read more

What looks like a Canker sore on soft palate. Red spots in back of throat/roof of mouth. Mouth is also yellow in color instead of pink. What is this?

That's not an easy ?: Sorry about that, but I'm certain a doctor will need to examine you to answer that question. What other physical symptoms do you have? How long has this been an issue? Any fever? Maybe mono? Maybe oral herpes? The yellow could be superficial growth of bacteria or damaged skin or it might be jaundice.
