What medications treat hair & scalp fungal infection from candida albicans? Cbc positive for candida albicans, had oral thrush, now pain in scalp, hair loss with visible budding yeast & pseudohyphae.
The organism: Is not the only consideration. You did not mention if it was skin on toe or the nail. Nials are difficult to treat due to the fact the organisms are ususally under the nail.
