No: I am sorry to hear about your mother's diangosis. Phlegm is a rare complaint among high grade glioma patients, though. Most patients with phlegm just have a respiratory tract infection. Pancreatic cancer treatment and thinner for dvt. Now cough with bloody phlegm. Oncologist is aware, but didn't alter treatment. Is this an emergency?

Small cell or oat ce: T cell tumor of the lung are usually diagnosed by the pathologist at autopsy. They are not usually the lung cancers picked up when you are alive. Not always: A chest x-ray can miss lung cancers, especially if they are early/small, when they can be best treated. Although it is not likely you have lung cancer given your age, please see your health care provider and get further evaluation.
