Not enough: I don't know how old you are, but if you're yawning a lot, and only getting 7 hours a night, you need more. There are a select few for whom 7 hours is enough, but most need at least 8 if not 10 hours a night. If you're falling asleep the moment your head hits the pillow, you are chronically sleep deprived.

My 7 year old yawns all the time he sleep about 9/10 hours a night, this is new but don't no wether it's a habit Or not?

Don't know why you: Are yawning. Try using excellent sleep hygiene ; see if it improves. Retire ; rise same time each day. Keep bedroom dark ; cool ; use only for sex ; sleep. Turn off tv. No naps. Exercise regularly but not in late evening. No caffeine for 6 hrs ; no alcohol or tobacco w/i 2 hrs of sleep. Keep dinner moderate sized ; finish at least 2 to 3 hrs before sleep. Try warm milk, chamomile tea or melatonin.
Why am I so incredibly run down and tired? I get a good amount of sleep, but I'm still so tired and I yawn all day it seems, and reasons?
Sleep study?: A sleep study might be helpful. Sometimes the quality of sleep is lacking thus leaving one still feeling tired.
Sleep test: All of your symptoms may indicated sleep problems that can be life shortening or life threatening. If any level of obstructive sleep apnea is involved, oxygen desaturation can put tremendous stress on major organs including the brain and heart. The only way to know if there are serious problems is with an overnight sleep test. I encourage you to seek help.
I yawn a lot. Doesn't matter if I sleep 5 hours or 10 hours a day. I still do. Not new. Even as a child I yawned a lot. Embarrassing. Reason? Cure?

See your family md: Your family md can refer you to an oral specialist or oropharyngeal surgeon if needed. Sounds like an infection and you should be given antibiotics and antiseptic gargles and mouth washes.

Encephalopathy?: He sounds pretty sick, and his ammonia level may be so high as to contribute to the presentation you've documented. This can be treated, but it requires confirmatory testing first. Many other conditions can also cause his problems however--some unrelated to the liver. Please get him to the doctor ASAP.
