There are tendons and ligaments which may have been damaged. Have the foot checked properly. See a podiatrist for a full foot exam. Navicular fracture: It will heal because the cam walker has a rocker bottom sole wich helps keep the foot from completing a complete gait cycle. Yes: 6-8 wks is all that is typically required for a stree fracture to heal. Most likely the bone is healed but the plantar fascia has tightened up due to non weightbearing and is now becoming inflamed.
