However, developing yeast infection at your age, even if you are sexually active, warrants being checked for other health issues, especially diabetes. It would be prudent to see your doctor. If you are sexually active use contraceptive all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.

May not be yeast: I don't know what "taking a pessary" means---that's a device to "prop up" a sagging uterus.

Yeast infections are itchy, but usually don't have bumps or stinging and you usually have a cheesy discharge. This sounds more like herpes virus to me. You should be examined and could be placed on some prophylactic medication. Good luck! ...Read more

Usually: Usually once you have had a yeast infection you can identify another one. Therefore if you think it's a yeast infection go ahead and treat it with an over the counter yeast infection cream. If this does not work then you may be dealing with another type of infection (bacterial)and will need to see your doctor for an evaluation and appropriate treatment.

Leaking fluid?: Congratulations on your pregnancy. While this might just be related to a poorly treated yeast infection, given how far along you are in pregnancy, you need to consider the possibility of leaking of amniotic fluid.

If you are not ruptured, then this could just be related to a change in your cervix and an increased discharge that is normal.
