Can You Use Yeast Infection Cream During The Day Time
I have a yeast infection for the very frist time and I was wondering which would be better for treatment the monistat ovule or the cream?
You may use any of the over the counter medications. However, developing yeast infection at your age, even if you are sexually active, warrants being checked for other health issues, especially diabetes. It would be prudent to see your doctor. If you are sexually active use contraceptive all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.
Practice safe sex.

May not be yeast:
I don't know what "taking a pessary" means---that's a device to "prop up" a sagging uterus.
Yeast infections are itchy, but usually don't have bumps or stinging and you usually have a cheesy discharge. This sounds more like herpes virus to me. You should be examined and could be placed on some prophylactic medication. Good luck! ...Read more

If this does not work then you may be dealing with another type of infection (bacterial)and will need to see your doctor for an evaluation and appropriate treatment.

The 3 day yeast infection cream that was given to me by my doctor is working but it's working very slowly. Is that normal?
Yes ; no: It depends upon what you mean by "working very slowly". Assuming that your doctor looked under the microscope to confirm your yeast infection (or at the very least, did a vaginal speculum exam), any of the various prescription ; otc yeast medications should work. However, you may have another concurrent infection that doesn't respond to the yeast medication. So it's best to follow up w/your doc. ...Read more
Well im 37 weeks, what do I do I had a yeast infection lastweek they gave me the 7 day cream and now these past days I been haven a lot of discharge?
Congratulations on your pregnancy. While this might just be related to a poorly treated yeast infection, given how far along you are in pregnancy, you need to consider the possibility of leaking of amniotic fluid.
If you are not ruptured, then this could just be related to a change in your cervix and an increased discharge that is normal.

HighlyDoubtfulBut...: You didn't eat it, did you? Good (believe me, it's happened). But even if you did, I don't think you'd get horrible gas pains."Abdominal pain"is listed as a side effect for about 3% of users but not severe & anyways, that's a small %-which I kind of doubt as a causal relationship. Try and think of other things that may have caused your pain. Also, if you are brave, try it one more time and see what happens ...Read more
