If a condom breaks and you want to prevent pregnancy, its a good idea to take a morning after pill because you can get pregnant even without actual ejaculation. Very unlikely: but remotely possible. Much more likely is that the progestin in the emergency contraception has altered your usual hormonal balance and delayed your period.
