Can i use Optical sterile normal saline drop solution in mixing Vebtolin nebulous 2.5mg for a 4yrs old kid inside a nebulizer or would water be better?
Not advised: Optical sterile normal saline could have preservatives in it that should not be inhaled with the nebulized medication. The company that sells the respirator provides normal saline to be used for mixing. Water is not the same as saline and may be harsh compared to saline. I have asthma and copd, I use a nebulizer for treatment along with the albuterol sulfate solution. Is there a better solution to use to help me?
Proper treatment: In my opinion, contrary to others, these conditions should always be treated with inhaled steroid first and then add. This prevents inflammation and twitchy airways. Vaporizers also can be dangerous to toddlers and small children as the steam can cause burns if touched by little hands. Neither is going to clean the air. You need an air purifier for this. ...Read more

Any directions/ pictures to show how to use flonase to shrink turbinates? i have saline spray its neilmed sinus rinse in a box with packets
Not really: H2o2 as it is known is very strong base. The body maintains a homeostasis of base and acid. Nebulizing this is caustic to the esophagus (like a drano) and the airways. I may be behind some studies but i don't know that it is of any benefit in inside tissues including the lung. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

It is safe to use a dissolution of pure concentrate Chlorophyll into saline solution as eye drops?
Not good idea: Anything that's not sterile and placed in the eye is setting yourself up for problems in the eye. Best to see your eye doctor and see why you are needing chlorophyll drops to begin with, and use that as a starting point for discussion. This is a better alternative, safer, and makes sense. S/he will be able to meet you where you are, and take care of you at the sae time. Good luck! ...Read more
