Can You Use Red Wine Vinegar To Detox
Very tempted to drink a shot, a wine cooler, etc. What can drinking alcohol do to someone on medications?
Depends on meds: Alcohol has a large number of drug interactions that can effect many medications, reducing their concentrations in the body and thus their effect. In some cases the interaction can be very dangerous, others less so. One shot, or one wine cooler, is very unlikely to do much of anything, but i suspect you are talking larger amounts of alcohol. If you have problems, seek help through your doctor. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Can you tell me if it's healthier to use a hydrogen peroxide water solution to lighten hair instead of bleach?
Is vinegar the same as alcohol? If I can't drink due to medication interactions and health reasons, can I have apple cider vinegar safely?
Has no alcohol, safe: Vinegar does not contain alcohol. It has acetic acid, a very different chemical. It is very safe though should be diluted before consuming. There are no proven drug interactions; some sites say large amounts might interact with digoxin, insulin and diuretics because it can lower potassium, but it contains potassium so I doubt that. Yes: the flush reaction is caused by an accumulation of acetaldehyde, which is a toxic product of alcohol metabolism.
