I'm having a colonoscopy & my dr. Wants me too take 12 dulcolax, MG citrate & 2 medizine . I only wt 105. Is that to much? I'm nervous about it.

No not too much: It is part of a colonoscopy prep but make sure that they want you to have either or dulcolax and mg citrate they usually order either or not both and you suppose to flush it by Gatorade or special fluid like Golytely (polyethylene glycol) or ware and juices simply Call your doctor to confirm the instruction ...Read more

No: Colace is merely a stool softener. A strong laxative is needed to clean out the colon as an inadequate preparation makes for an indeterminate colon visualization. Not recommended: A full colonoscopy can be very uncomfortable, even painful. I would certainly NOT recommend it in an awake state. Your body's response to conscious pain may also make the procedure more difficult to perform and limit the usefulness of the exam. ...Read more

AlwaysAGuess; agent,: dose & response relationships with all the usual complex individual variables. A full bottle of citrate of magnesia will likely be far more effective than the other agents, especially if one stays physically active, fasts, take 2 days prior & chase with another bottle 1 day prior.
