If you have cellulitis, then you need antibiotic therapy. Also it sounds like you may be dealing with a urinary tract infection (UTI) as well. You need to have a follow up appointment to have these issues addressed. You will likely need a ua (urinalysis) and urine culture done.
Also know that you can refuse treatments offered. Therefore if you do not want pain meds then you can refuse.
Best of luck. ...Read more
Dr. Neel Karne I do have an ulcer have had 4 blood trans. Get mth toradol shots 20+ tylenol (acetaminophen) a day no relief at all. Considering Suicide?
Not suicide!: This is a time to work closely with the physician who can treat the ulcer. BTW, I've heard that toradol can cause gastric bleeding, so It's hard to understand why, w/ an ulcer, mthly use of a short-term pain killer is a good choice. Also, over 3, 000 mg tylenol (acetaminophen) per day is risky. If you really feel suicidal - get psychiatric help ASAP - you hurt enough already. Please don't make life worse. Best! ...Read more
I had Botox 10 days ago for migraines. I have had severe neck pain when I bend my head forward since. It is horrible by the end of the day, and I am still having migraines. I have tried massage, NSAIDs, Tylenol, Toradol, ice, heat, Flexeril.?
Hi. Received Toradol shot today for fibromyalgia flare up. What other meds can I take regularly? I'm currently on Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) 7.5-325. Other meds tried b4
Which is stronger on pain: ketorolac 10mg or oxy/acetaminophen 5-325. Would prefer to not take together if I can get by w/ one. Day 2 of kidney stone.
Toradol: Is a different NSAID alltogether. It comes in liquid, im, IV and pill form... But it is harsher on your stomach. It works typicall well, but you have to be careful! ...Read more
Taking ketorolac, oxy/acetaminophen, flomax, (tamsulosin) zofran to manage kidney stone. No bm for 48 hours. Is this too long? What can I do to have a bm?
YOu can get some glycerin suppositories to help bm. The constipation is from the oxycodone. If you will need it longer start on some bisacodyl and take as instructed on bottle. I would not worry for not having a BM is 48 hours. This is not unusual in the case of narcotics.

If I took a 50mg tramadol at 215 pm could I go ahead and take another now at 441pm since I'm still in lots of pain? Also took a 1000 mg of tylenol!
Depends on reaction: Please tell us what kind of "allergic " reaction you had to ibuprofen. If it caused asthma, the only drug you may take is a Cox-2 specific one. If the reaction was hives or swelling, you may be able to tolerate another kind of NSAID (be sure to read the generic name of the drug). Consider consulting an allergist. ...Read more
What r some meds that can prevent regular ha's... I no I'm taking to much tylenol (acetaminophen) & iburprfen I take it off & on I'm getting worried bout takin it?
Adress the causes: I don't think meds are the best approach (though they can help if you have migraines). Most ha's are related to stress/muscle tension. I advise relaxation techniques like meditation, stretching/yoga, exercise & adequate sleep. Magnesium (esp. Taurate or glycinate), b vits, tulsi tea, ashwagandha, massage, acupuncture and classical homeopathy can all help. Sensitivities to common foods may trigger. ...Read more

You have to be careful
Some formulations if Tramadol are combined with acetominophen (Tylenol) so you could damage your liver if too much
Also combining codeine with opioid -type drugs may have an additive sedation effect so generally not advisable tho you might be able to get away with it
Take Aleve or similar with either of those and it will help with pain without added sedation ...Read more
