Sister taking 50 mg Tramadol ONCE a day for back pain. A psychiatrist prescribed Wellbutrin (bupropion) xl 300 mg daily. Is this safe to take together?
I am currently on Wellbutrin (bupropion) XL and Lexapro and was prescribed Tramadol. Wanted to see if there was a bad interaction if taken together?

Furthermore, both Tramadol and Wellbutrin (bupropion) can lower the seizure threshold. PGT testing to determine CYP2D6 status may be able to guide treatment. The prescribing physician (s) should be informed of this combination. ...Read more

Not having a clue as to why you take any of these, I cannot advise further, but think you would do well to have an extensive discussion with your doctor about all of this. ...Read more

Average 7 to 10 days: Long-term use of tramadol may be associated with physical dependence and a withdrawal syndrome, consisting of typical opiate-like withdrawal symptoms as well as atypical withdrawal symptoms including seizures.
