Is it safe to take prevacid (lansoprazole) in early pregnancy? Just over 4 weeks pregnant, have been on prescription prevacid (lansoprazole) for years for extreme reflux.
PPIs: You are on a ppi (proton pump inhibitor). Yes: You need to be monitored for the side effects of Relafen and other nsaids. Prevacid can help decrease the risk of GI bleeding. It is a proton pump inhibitor. Vimovo (esomeprazole and naproxen) even has a proton pump inhibitor in the same pill with the Naproxen and decrease gastric ulcers.
