Magnesium citrate is a class C drug regarding pregnancy, which means a "Risk not ruled out", and that "animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus" I would suggest fiber supplementation (eg fiber one cereal), increased water intake, and gentle exercise along with stool softeners like sodium docusate. ...Read more
