Nsaids: Naprosyn (naproxen) and Ibuprofen are both NSAIDS, so you can not take both, but you may take naprosyn (naproxen) as instructed to instead of the Ibuprofen, . BUT note, it is important for continuity of care and good pt/Dr relations to inform your treating Doctor of the medications you are taking so they can be properly documented and that allows the Doctor to know how you are and stay in tuned with your case.

If I took an aleve (naproxen) at 4am and an ibuprofen at 1030am, can I take an aleve (naproxen) now? It's currently 9pm

Yes: Yes, it would be ok to take another Aleve (naproxen), (naproxen) now. However, be careful about combining these two medications since they both act on the same way, it is not necessary to use them together. Pick one. Aleve (naproxen) should be taken every 12 hours, whereas ibuprofen can be taken every 8 hours. Hydrate yourself, since these meds taken in excess can damage your kidneys.
