Should be fine: That would be 300 mg Acetaminophen from the tylenol (acetaminophen) #3 and 500 mg (650 mg old) from the es tyl, for a total of 800 to 950 mg of tyl. Yes: Although I would not recommend doing that, especially regularly, The max dose of Tylenol (acetaminophen) in 24 hours is 3000 mg in adults. You may want to consider ibuprofen or other pain reliever not containing Tylenol (acetaminophen). ...Read more

I would try and avoid taking up to 3000mg of tylenol on a regular basis regardless of what source. While 3000mg/24 is an accepted dosing amount. The potential for cumulative toxicity is still significant especially if you take it regularly. Also, be very cautious if you have liver problems, consume alcohol or take other medications metabolized in the liver.
Hope that helps. ...Read more

Space them out: If you 'need' to take both, claritin in am and tylenol (acetaminophen) pm at night. Remember tylenol (acetaminophen) pm contains an antihistaminic (diphenhydramine) which acts the same as Claritin, so you need to be cautious not to exceed the recommended dosage. Diphenhydramine is first generation and is sedating, claritin is second generation, should be non-sedating, but may induce sedation in some individuals, be careful ...Read more
