Can You Take Clomid During Menopause And Get Pregnant
Is it necessary to take Clomid (clomiphene) the 2nd time since I didn't get pregnant the 1st time I took it?
Clomid (clomiphene): Keep in mind that pregnancy may not happen on the first attempt with clomid, (clomiphene) as some cycles may not be fertile cycles. Therefore, it may be necessary to sometimes go through several Clomid (clomiphene) cycles before moving on to something else. Do bring up your concerns to your doctor.
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
Since I've been on shots for 8 years and I just got off I decided to take 100mg Clomid (clomiphene) to get pregnant how do you recommend me to take it?
Bad idea: It's a prescription drug in the us for good reasons. If you don't now how/when to start and monitor it you can get into complications much more important than side effects.
We are currently trying to get pregnant with the assistance of clomid (clomiphene). I take it on days 3-7. What day should I expect to ovulate?
Varies: Most patients ovulate between days 12-16. Clomid (clomiphene) rarely changes that. What Clomid (clomiphene) does it increases the hormones that promote ovulation (fsh). You should be either monitored by a doctor for ideal ovulation time, or at the least do ovulation predictor kits at home. If neither are available then have intercourse days 12, 14, 16.
Took Clomid (clomiphene) last 4mon. No luck w pregnancy. Did not take it this month, I'm discouraged! Is there a good chance to get pregnant wo it this Month?
Pregnancy: Hi, everything is possible, don't be discouraged.
3 months: It really depends on the underlying condition and when a normal cycle is reestablished.
What happens if I take Clomid (clomiphene) and I don't get pregnant and how long do I have to be on it before I switch to a different pill to concieve?
Would it hurt my ovaries to take 100mg Clomid (clomiphene) w/ my estrogen level @ 213? Also will that level hurt my chance 2 get pregnant?
High estrogen level: Did you also have a sonogram? A cyst on one or both of your ovaries could cause your Estradiol level to be 213, if the blood test was on day 2, 3 or 4 of your cycle. Estradiol levels are also high later in your cycle when a follicle is developing. Clomid (clomiphene) won't work to help you ovulate this month if your estrogen level is this high, but it won't hurt your ovaries. Talk to your dr about your options.See 1 more doctor answer
I have no period because of pcos when should I start to take Clomid (clomiphene) to get pregnant?
I have pcos and I do not have a period at all. We are trying to get pregnant would Clomid (clomiphene) be okay to take? Or something else?
I have pcos do I need to take Clomid (clomiphene) to get pregnant or I should first try without taking any medication?
Need Treatment: Unless your cycles are exactly 28 days and have always been regular, I would suggest you seek treatment. We prefer Letrozole over Clomid (clomiphene) due to success and side effects. The fact that cycles are irregular even if they are only off a little (30 - 32d), the risk of miscarriage is high. This would be the reason I would recommend treatment. In addition the time to pregnancy will be shorter.See 1 more doctor answer

My fertility doctor prescribed me glumetza and Clomid (clomiphene) cause I wasn't ovulating and my b.S. Is high. I was wondering if I get pregnant will I still take?
You will stop: Once you are pregnant, you will have no need for the clomid (clomiphene). Medication for you blood sugars will depend on if they think that you have diabetes, in which case, you would need to be on medication. If you do not have diabetes now, ask about early screening for diabetes during preganncy.See 1 more doctor answer

Can I take other fertility helpers with my metformin and Clomid (clomiphene) to help get pregnant with pcos?
Maybe: Fertility helpers can be: fertility tests not done, surgery for other problems, adding IUI in some cases. If the clomid/metformin are causing you to ovulate then time may work. Later try coh/iui or ivf. Other otc supplements may be helpful full or harmful. Recently, coq-10 and dhea have been popular but all these should be used with doc management. Best wishes.See 1 more doctor answer
