Problems with bones: Mri is a very advanced test and it gives structural information about the muscles bones and tendons as well as joints. Any problem from infection, fractures, dislocation or cancer inflammation, abscess all will show up in a MRI scan it is expensive but extremely useful test especially if we are not sure of what is the cause of your pain. Unlikely: This is not a common side effect of lunesta (eszopiclone), (eszopiclone) especially with the amount of swelling you are reporting. Did the swelling start after you began lunesta (eszopiclone)? Does it go away if you do not take lunesta (eszopiclone)? I would probably investigate this further. ...Read more

Not normal: Blood and and protein in the urine accompanied by swelling suggests a problem with kidney function. Perhaps what the doctor was referring to was the anatomy of your urinary tract, which is distinct from kidney function. Tests measuring. Kidney function may hep sort this out. ...Read more
