A good friend of mine has been on birth control for over four years during that time she has gotten pregnant twice due to the very low odds of this happening I and everyone she knows is wondering if she has in fact been taking birth control my question is
Epididymitis?: At age 25, epididymitis due to gonorrhea or chlamydia is the most serious common cause of one-sided testicular pain, especially if enlarged or tender, and/or discharge from the penis or painful urination. Torsion (twisting) is a surgical emergency; get care immediately if pain onset was very sudden, although this is less likely after age 20. For sure see a doctor if the problem continues. ...Read more

Total thyroidectomy 10 years ago. Numbers stable. Last four months low numbers. Levo increased from 50mcg to 88 to 150 to 175. why am I not absobing?
This is common: The reason that it is important to continue checking thyroid function regularly for the remainder of life after thyroidectomy is because the requirements for thyroid hormone replacement can change at any time without any identifiable cause. It is not unusual for a person to require high doses of thyroid replacement following total thyroidectomy. There is no reason for concern about absorption. ...Read more
