Not sure, but...: Pts who have irregular periods, are prone to an over-development or over-thickening of the uterine lining, and sometimes this can result in prolonged heavy bleeding and passing tissue. You would need labs, and an ultrasound to evaluate the thickness of the endometrium, which your doctor could order. ...Read more

Likely: Since you're not even sure if you are ovulating, it I very difficult to say one way or another how much difficulty you may have getting pregnant. Many people with these conditions do indeed have more difficulty getting pregnant. That doesn't mean you can't or won't. Irregular menses: Have you had a pelvic ultrasound? If not that is the first thing you can do to help distinguish if your pain is coming from an ovarian cyst or if you are having possible issues with endometriosis. Either way it's time to go see a Gynecologist for these symptoms. ...Read more
