Can You Have Cramping Before Implantation
One common meaning refers to the process by which an embryo attaches to the uterus of a woman so that she is pregnant. Many think of it as 'sticking.' implantation in humans always occurs when the embryo is between 6-7 days old. A very popular concept on the internet now in 2012, 'implantation bleeding, ' is speculative ...Read more
Bleeding: Implantation bleeding is much more common on the internet than in real life. It occurs rarely and exclusively in someone who is pregnant. The only way to know if someone had implantation bleeding or just irregular menstrual bleeding is to wait and see if you are pregnant. If your test is positive then this was implantation bleeding. If it is negative then it is just irregular menstrual bleeding.
Neither: There is nearly never cramping related to implantation, ; however, you might have cramping for other reasons. There is no right or wrong side.
Unlikely: Even though implantation can cause bleeding and/or cramping, most of the time there are no symptoms
Implantation: No. Implantation happens without any physical symptoms. Imagine with me the fetus at this point is smaller than a speck of dust. This tiny microscopic organism does not cause trauma when it lands on the wall of the uterus.
Not usually: Implantation pain is quite variable, such that most women cannot feel it at all. The first thought then is that perhaps the discomfort you felt was due to another problem. A pregnancy test at the time of expected menses can be useful to prove a pregnancy. Otc pain relief should be helpful. Best wishes.
No: And you would not have implantation then a period or it would would be a miscarriage.
Probably wouldn't: Implantation occurs between 6-7 days after fertilization. But there are absolutely no symptoms that are reliably or consistently felt following implantation. 'implantation bleeding' is all the rage on the internet now, but it's highly variable and not reliable as an indicator.
Not implantation: Honestly, there are no 'implantation cramps;' at 6 days post-fertilization the implantation site would be barely large enough to even see with the naked eye (which you can't anyway.) there are many legitimate reasons for cramping around ovulation, but they are not due to implantation.
I got cramping all day yesterday and a little bit this morning could that be implantation cramping?
What do you advise if I had cramping all day yesterday and a little bit this morning could that be implantation cramping?
Difficult to confirm: In the second half of the cycle...the corpus luteum (the post ovulation cyst that makes hormones) may be tender, its demise may be tender and cause cramping and of course if one conceives the ovary may be tender. As the uterus grows and changes women may feel changes. Cramping may also be from the intestines. In summary cramping may Have many etiologies so it is hard to know.
I have been having cramps mainly on my right side, sometimes on both sides. I am 7 dpo. Could these be implantation cramps?
May be: Conception, as defined by the generation of a fertilized ovum, occurs within day or so of the sex. However, it takes about two weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
Is 6-7 days too early for implantation? I have been having some mild cramps today and someone said it could be implantation?
