Can You Give Hpv By Changing Diapers Baby
If you have HPV, can you give it to your children if you kiss, bathe or change their diapers? I don't know if I have this or not. I have never had warts & all my pap smears have been normal. My hubby has never had warts either.

Possible scar: Hpv is transmitted sexually but should not have anything to do with the described scenario. Part of the question is missing but sounds like the area that was cut looks strange. Aside from a wound that has not healed which is not likely she may have formed a keloid which is a very raised scar and a cosmetic problem only. An examination by medical provider can easily determine if this is the case. ...Read more

No: Hpv is only one of more than a dozen illnesses that can be transmitted through intercourse & actually only covers 9 of dozens of strains of that virus, the ones associated with cancer of genital warts. Some may want to think of that way to hide from the reality of sex. Males & females can acquire the germ & keep it in their system for decades before it returns to cause cancer. ...Read more

It sounds like you've done the basics-it's time to discuss the details with your doctor. It will be much easier to treat the problem early. Good luck. ...Read more

Timing: Acquisition of genital or vocal warts from delivery are time limited. Transfer of the virus may be silent & would be more likely to occur if there were active genital warts at delivery. If they appear within 2 years of birth the delivery is considered the more likely source. Any emergence after 2-3 years of age will trigger a child sexual abuse investigation in my state. ...Read more
What can I use to give oral sex to someone who has HPV with out passing hpv? And how effective is it?
HPV protection: Latex or polyurethane squares (sometimes called "dental dams") can be held against the vulva during oral sex to reduce the risk of transmission that way (use a glycerin-free flavored lube on both sides of the dam to increase pleasure for both partners). This is not an absolute guarantee against infection, but does help substantially. The long-term plan should by hpv vaccination for men & women. ...Read more
