Shingles: Your son probably has had his first chicken pox shot which will give him some good protection. Not touching or getting near your shingles helps him not get it also. ...Read more

Shingles: You should go to a dermatologist to be evaluated. Unless you are immunosupressed it would be extremely rare for a 20 yr old to get shingles once, and almost never twice you must have something else. Perhaps herpes simplex or impetigo or contact dermatitis it may need to be evaluated with bacterial and viral cultures and a skin biopsy.
