Scabies unlikely.: but it is a reason to have things evaluated. Mostly, reaction to a chemical exposure with/without sunlight sensitization effects. Can progress to a second degree burn or infection if the skin breaks open. But, if it is an allergic reaction to a medication, that needs to be fixed. And if it is sensitive skin, (mastocytosis) that needs to be fixed. And theres good treatment for it. ...Read more

Do you have a rash?: If you have an itchy rash you might have hives or eczema. Contact dermatitis all over your body would clear in 2-6 weeks - so it's not that. No rash? Probably not: Although no one has done a study on what temperature would kill the mites and eggs, the temperature under your skin where the mite burows would not be that hot. You need to see your dermatologist and get medications to apply to stop the infestation. ...Read more
