Can You Get Pregnant If You Vomit With The Implanon
I had sex on feb. 14. I got my implanon out Wednesday 25th n later that night I threw up, I did take a pregnancy test it come out negative. Help?
Too soon to know:
Conception, as defined by the generation of a fertilized ovum, occurs within day or so of the sex. However, it takes about two weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.
Practice safe sex.

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
I have the implanon. I've been feeling nausea and I feel like throwing up all the time. I had sex a couple days after I got it. Could I be pregnant?
Take the test: If you want to know if you are pregnant, take a test. In today's world you do not need to wonder if you are pregnant or not based on symptoms. Pregnancy tests are available at any pharmacy and in minutes you will have your answer. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. ...Read more

Unlikely: Implanon is a small, contraceptive, medical device that is inserted under the skin of a woman's arm. It should prevent pregnancy for about 3 years. If your girlfriends implant is less then 3 years old it is unlikely that she will get pregnant. Implanon does not prevent sexually transmitted diseases (like a condom will), so if you were not her partner you may want to have a discussion about that. ...Read more

What if I am pregnant and it don't show on the blood test and I get the implanon? Will the blood test show it or could it be too early
Could be too early: The first 6 days after conception, your pregnancy test would be negative. That's why you should generally start new birth control like Implanon during the first 7 days of your cycle. At that time, the period shows you are not pregnant and ovulation should still be a few days away. ...Read more

Possible, not likely: Implanon is not 100% effective in preventing pregnancy, so you could be pregnant. As far as a period, it would not be expected during pregnancy, but first trimester bleeding can be misinterpreted as a period in such cases. Check a home pregnancy test asap and see your gynecologist to find out what is going on. Take Folic Acid 1-5 mg daily and best of luck! ...Read more

I've been on implanon for more than 8 months and just recently had unprotected sex. Is there a chance I could get pregnant?
Is it even possible for me to get pregnant with implanon and having periods every 14 days? Not that I'm trying, just worrying.
Very unlikely: The frequent periods you are having are a side effect of the implanon. It is not a serious medical problem, but can be quite a nuisance. The Implanon is very effective at protecting you from getting pregnant. No birth control method is 100%, but I don't think you have anything to worry about. ...Read more
I had my implanon rod removed 19 weeks ago & have been trying to get pregnant without any luck is there anything I can do to boost fertility?
Trying to conceive: Whenever you have these devices removed from your body you can take six months to a year for you to begin ovulation. And so, my first question is are you having regular periods? If so you may want to track signs of ovulation. If you continue to not have successful another few more months you may want to begin preliminary testing of sperm, tubes, hormone levels etc. ...Read more
What's the best birthcontrol to use after the implanon removal in feb, and it's been 8 months and it seem like I can't get pregnant, I am worried?
What do you want?: Do you want birth control or do you want to get pregnant? The birth control choice depends on your contraceptive needs moving forward, not the birth control you used in the past. It takes a couple with no fertility related issues ~8 months to conceive. If you are trying to conceive and you have no success after 1 year I would seek professional advice on the options available. Don't worry yet. ...Read more
