After my hysteroscopy will I still be able to get pregnant?

Hysteroscopy: It is difficult to answer this without knowing the details of the procedure. If it was just a diagnostic procedure to make sure everything was alright, then the procedure would not make it more difficult to become pregnancy.

I'm 32 years old and it being a year trying to get pregnant, I want to know if hysteroscopy can help me getting pregnant?

Yes: Hysteroscopy can definitely help you with evaluation of your ability to conceive. Sometimes there are septations or tissue curtains in the uterus that prevent pregnancy from occurring and a hysteroscopy can detect that. Also, at hysteroscopy, the tubes can be evaluated to make sure there is flow or patency of the tubes (combined with laparoscopy). If you've been trying for a year, I recommend

I recently had a hysteroscopy and d&c done. How long should I wait before we can ttc? My gyno suggested not to get pregnant for the next 2 cycles!

Follow instructions: The best person to give advice is the doctor who did your surgery since they know exactly what was done. I would recommend following their advice.

How long should I wait to get pregnant after a fibroid removal done by a operative hysteroscopy?

How long should I wait to get pregnant after a fibroid removal done by a operative hysteroscopy?

Depends: I usually perform some sort of follow up evaluation after the surgery to make sure that the whole fibroid is gone. That can be done with hysterosonogram or office hysteroscopy or hsg. If fibroid is gone then I usually tell the couple that it is fine to start trying...Assuming there are no other issues. Good luck.

I'm 53. Haven't had a period in years. Can I get pregnant several years ago I a hysteroscopy. Haven't had a period for several years

Very unlikely: Unless you use donated eggs from a younger woman, it is very unlikely you will get pregnant. That being said on very rare occasions 53 year olds do get pregnant.

I have gone through Hysteroscopy procedure 3 days back to remove previous pregnancy's tissue particles, can I try to conceive immediately from now?

I have gone through Hysteroscopy procedure 3 days back to remove previous pregnancy's tissue particles, can I try to conceive immediately from now?

Not yet: Give your body and mind a chance to recover. After a miscarriage, you are stressed and often grieving and your body has also been working overtime. After a pregnancy loss, it times time to cope. Many experts think a year is the average time it takes to deal emotionally with a major life stressor. Also the body needs several weeks to months to recover. Ask your doctor about this.

Did hysteroscopy to remve sumucos fibroid (2×3 cm). What is the recovery time and gap between next pregnancy? Lost pregnant bfore coz of this fibroid at23wk

Ask your Surgeon: The time you need to wait depends upon how deep the fibroid was into the myometrium (muscle of the uterus). If superficial, you need to wait as little as 2 months. If it was very deep, you may need to wait 6 months. Check with your surgeon.

Will me having a miscarriage be less likely after hysteroscopy/d&c surgey for removal of fibroids. I am 3 wks and 5 days pregnant and scared?

Doesn’t hurt: Creating a normal intrauterine environment by removing a mass such a polyp or fibroid before pregnancy is certainly a good idea. These surgeries do not increase the chance of miscarriage.

Can hysteroscopy help with my scar tissue and help me have a final successful pregnancy? I have scar tissue from cerclages, 3 c-sections and 3 d&c's

What did your doc sa: Say?, hysteroscopy will only treat scar tissue inside the uterus as you probably have scar tissue on the out side of the uterus also and after 3 cerclages your cervix is in bad shape and a 4th may not work and you have a much higher chance of a placenta acreta due to a 4th csection with scar tissue which can be a disaster if u get pg you will be very high risk, don't chance it, be happy u have 3.

Probably good: Icsi is a very effective treatment for malefactor infertility. Since it appears your tests are normal your prognosis is likely very good. Individual cases though will need to be managed by a specialist.

Get REI consult.: I am assuming you lost those three pregnancies. I am so sorry. Sperm DNA integrity plays a vital role in embryogenesis and fetal well being. Sperm DNA damage may lead to pre- and post-implantation losses, early pregnancy loss and congenital malformations. You should discuss with your Gynecologist or better, an Andrologist.
