Can You Get Herpes On Your Chest
There are different types of herpes infections; herpes simplex infection of mouth (gingivostomatitis) and lips (labialis) are the most common. Others include genital herpes, and herpes zoster. Herpes infection could very mild to very dangerous depending on the type and location of the body affected. I ...Read more
Yes: Herpes on the body is called herpes gladiatorum. It looks like one or more small blisters close to each other, each 1 mm in size. The area might be red. Later the blisters burst and the area becomes wet and shiny.
I had sex with a woman 3WEEKS LATER I get these small pimples on chest and have a genital herpes break out with a cold. Could I have hiv.
Not HIV: The rash of a new HIV infection is not pimple-like, and occurs along with fever, sore throat, lymph node enlargement, etc. Three weeks is too long for onset of new herpes and HIV doesn't cause cold symptoms like stuffy nose or cough. If you remain worried, visit the Public Health STD clinic at Harborview (which I used to direct) to check out your symptoms and herpes, and maybe HIV testing.
Herpes: You get herpes where you are infected with it. It does not or cannot move or transfer to another part of a body. If your blood tests show that you are in fact positive for herpes type two and you have outbreaks or a history of sores on your genitals then the breast is not genital herpes.
Yes: Herps simplex virus is a rare cause of breast infection. Few cases of maternal-infant transmission of the virus during breast-feeding resulting in nipple lesions have been documented and only two cases have been reported in nonlactating women. So you can get if the female is infected. But dose not come from the milk, herpes can be passed on during skin-to-skin contact.See 1 more doctor answer
Just wondering if you get diagnosed with herpes does that make you sterile? Or can it affect breast feeding your baby as I have a 9 wk and 3 day baby
Worrisome issue: Herpes is more worrisome in some respects than some std's.Spread of the germ to a baby prior to or during delivery may result in a devastating neonatal encephalitis that leads to death or permanent disability. A new case acquired after the kids birth is unlikely to affect breast feeding unless s/he has contact with lesions. The germ stays away from your fallopian tubes so sterility is unlikely.See 1 more doctor answer
Drinking water of call girl. I don't know her status. Touching her breast, buttucks, panty and also bath towel by hand. No sex, no kiss. By this get herpes?
Yes, anywhere: For herpes, I suggest BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene), a fat soluble antioxidant, available without a prescription. Take a total of 2 grams per day, in divided doses. Lesions should start clearing up in several days. Don't drink alcohol when taking BHT. Download free e-book, "Wipe out Herpes with BHT" by Steve Fowkes. You can also dissolve BHT in coconut oil, and apply topically.
Unusual: Is this herpes simplex (odd location), or herpes zoster (only on one side of body in nerve root distribution)? Either, if the diagnosis is correct should not last longer than 10-14 days, but this depends on many factors including your immune status and whether this is primary or recurrent infection, etc.
Yes, but not likely: Each individual place that a herpes virus invades is subject to recurrent appearances (that is what a cold sore is). This can happen in the skin anywhere on your body. However, it would be unusual for 3 separate spots (face, neck and chest) to have outbreaks at the same time if you never had it before. An exception may be if your immune system is very weak (like taking steroids).See 1 more doctor answer
Herpes simplex: Not likely, but not impossible. Would need to see these to diagnose.
Just found out that am having Herpes Type 1 and started medication. But why is my body feeling hot within the chest, stomach and back? Please reply
What's the difference between the looks of a pimple to herpes? I'm getting them on my chest and my four head and all over. Red with out white heads
Mucous membranes: Herpes simplex occurs on mucous membranes. Herpes-zoster occurs on specific areas of skin in a nerve root distribution. Random pimples probably aren't herpes. Herpes lesions always have a blister in the middle of them early in the eruption. Then they crust over. Only way to be sure is to have an examination. See your doctor.
I have herpes lesions on right side chest, arm pit, and back. Never a cold sore. What type of herpes is this?
I have little bumps on my chest, could these be herpes? I do have genital herpes could I have spread it to my chest?
Unlikely: Herpes generally attaches to moist areas like mouth, genitalia, eyes - although it is rarely seen on the finger and other areas. If there is a pattern of sores seen intermittently - in the same area- and you are concerned- your dr. Can do a culture of these areas with a swab. This test is accurate - assuming there is enough virus on the swab. Genital herpes is very very common - unlikely on chest.
Have herpes & breaking out on lip, neck, & chest. I have family visiting this Sat. Is it advisable that I cancel their trip to avoid infecting them?
May not be herpes: Herpes simplex can be anyplace in the body. This may not be herpes based on your description. A visit to your health care provider to diagnose and treat this is needed. Herpes is spread by direct skin to skin contact. And is less contagious once on treatment with an antiviral. Your health care provider can help you evaluate this
