Not likely: Unless you had direct trauma to the area or you became constipated because of stress. If it persists, you should show it to your doctor, because it could be something else.

What happens you get a external hemorrhoid banded?

What happens you get a external hemorrhoid banded?

Painful: There are internal & external hemorrhoids. Internal ones can be banded because there are no skin nerve pain fibers, as compared to external ones. External ones have skin pain nerve fibers & would not be comfortable to band those. Banding internal hemorrhoids may make the external ones resolve if they are not too large.

How to get rid of hemorrhoid pain?

How to get rid of hemorrhoid pain?

Pain: From hemorrhoids is usually due to an external hemorrhoid issue. If they are just swollen, bed rest for 24-48 hours and warm tub soaks work best. If it is thrombosed or clotted, seeing a colorectal surgeon to incise and drain will get the most prompt response. Be sure your pain is not due to an anal fissure as that is sometimes present and needs different treatment.

How do I get rid of hemorrhoid????

How do I get rid of hemorrhoid????

Start with an exam: The place to start is with an examination by a general or colorectal surgeon. That doctor will be able to assess if you (a) have hemorrhoids and (b) need treatment. All human beings have normal hemorrhoidal cushions in their lower rectum and anus. Once you have been examined, the surgeon can give you a treatment plan. This plan may include surgery.

Can I get rid of this hemorrhoid at home?

Can I get rid of this hemorrhoid at home?

NO: Is it thrombosed? (red and painfully swollen) please do not try to lance it - terrible idea with high risk of bleeding and infection. Some topical and suppositories can reduce swelling but not "get rid of" symptomatic hemorrhoids. You need to see a doctor.
