Endometriosis: The pills have very probably controlled your pain. If you want to stop taking the pill, I am sure it is fine, but the pains are likely to return. It is often best to see your Gyn to discuss why you want to go off. ...Read more

Excision surgery: Continuous oral contraceptives will work better than having a monthly period. Pain should improve after the second or third pack. Alternatively, you could have extensive excision of endometriosis in which is possible to remove all visible disease . Mini pill: The mini pill contains only progesterone. As with all progesterone only contraception abnormal bleeding is a major side effect. This could be bleeding everyday or no bleeding at all or anything in between. The bleeding pattern you describe could be entirely normal for you on progesterone only contraception. ...Read more
